Privacy Notice
How ResultsFortis collects, uses and protects personal information. Last updated 5 October 2026.
Who we are
ResultsFortis builds and ranks local service websites in the United Kingdom and rents each one to a single trade firm per town. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 we are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at hello@resultsfortis.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you give us through the form on this site: your name, business name, telephone number, email address, trade and the area you cover.
- Anything else you choose to tell us in the free-text field or by email.
- Technical data — standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages visited.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and discuss a territory — steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To manage an agreement once one exists — performance of a contract.
- To keep records of who we have spoken to — legitimate interests in running the business.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
We do not add enquirers to a marketing list and we do not sell or share your details with third parties for their own purposes.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Formspree — processes submissions from the enquiry form on this site.
- SiteGround — hosts this website and our email.
- CircleLoop — provides our telephone service. Calls to our numbers may be recorded.
- Google — provides Business Profile listings and search analytics for the sites we operate.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for two years from your last contact with us. Where an agreement is entered into, records relating to it are kept for six years, which reflects the period during which a contractual dispute could reasonably arise. Call recordings are kept for six months unless they relate to an active arrangement or dispute.
Your rights
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure in certain circumstances, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@resultsfortis.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
